Update: Zoey has an adoption pending and is already in her new home!

Zoey is a 2 year 7 month old spayed female basset of slender build. She has a loving disposition,  enjoys being with her people, gets along well with children,other dogs and cats. She is housetrained and knows how to use the dog door. 

This sweet houndie is demanding of attention and does not like to be left alone. She has a  strong preference for sleeping with or near her people, and has resisted sleeping in a crate. 

Zoey has a deformity in the structure of her right paw. Whether surgery on that paw would be of benefit to Zoey was evaluated by orthopedic surgeons. It was decided that surgery would not be performed because the foot does not cause her any difficulty in walking nor does it appear to be painfui. In spite of the deformity, Zoey is active houndie who loves to play and go on walks.
