Little Kiki may or may not have basset hounds in her lineage, but she is young, cute as a button and needed rescue, so, when the shelter presented her to us, how could we resist?

Kiki is around 2-3 years old. She is spayed and up to date on vaccinations. She has some hair loss from flea allergy, which is now under control.

At 30 pounds, Kiki is the perfect size--not too big and not too small. Kiki is active and gets along well with other dogs and would really like a home where she has a doggie playmate, or ample opportunity to play with other dogs. Although she currently lives with a very dog-savvy cat that doesn't run from her, Kiki LOVES to chase cats, so is not really recommended for a home with cats.

Kiki is cautious around new people and particularly cautious around men and small children. Her ideal home would be with a woman, or women, children 13 years old or older, if any, and an energetic doggie playmate. If that sounds like your home, Kiki is waiting to meet you!
