Hello my name is Dulton but everyone calls me boy. I am a 4yr old Neutered 65lb tri colored male Basset hound.
I am microchip and current on vaccines. I know all my basic commands. I am also kennel trained and housebroken.
Some of my favorite things to do are going for walks and hiking. For a basset hound I’m pretty athletic and I don’t wear out too fast. I also love a good Chew bone and you can take it away from me with ease. But I have to say my most favorite thing is to be loved and cuddled I could do that all day if you let me.
I can be a shy boy with new people I do not know. I tend to bark but ones The initial meet and greet is over I tend to settle down and I’m friendly. I would do best in a home with no kids since I have never been in a household with them. I wouldn’t mind a home with a smaller female dog. I had a bad experience with a big dog as a puppy and since then I do not care for them. I tend to bark loud in their face to tell them go away I don’t want to play with you. But I’m great with dog smaller than me and love small girl dogs best. However with proper introduction I have been known to have big best friend girl dogs. As long as they aren’t too pushy.
I am great with smaller animals such as cats, chickens and tortoise, Iv’e lived with them in the past.
