UPDATE - 1/2/15

Maggie has found her forever home! Yep, her foster dad says Maggie goes no where and is HOME.

This girl has dealt with a lot of issues along the way but has come so far.

We are all so happy for Maggie and her new, forever dad, Tim!

**Update - 8/29/14**

Maggie is doing great! She has now been spayed and her teeth have been fixed. She's battling an ear infection but this too shall pass. Little Miss Maggie now weighs in at 28 pounds! Still no sign of the Crohns disease she was said to have. She is a sweet, happy little houndette. Enjoy the new photo from several weeks ago. New ones coming soon!

Miss Maggie is brand new to GGBR as of today (7/12/14). As you can see the poor girl is emaciated weighing in at a mere 19.8 lbs. We are told she has Crohns disease but unfortunately do not have any vet records to support this and she was not being treated so we will have to start from scratch. She has had blood drawn for a panel & heartworm test, was bathed and given some food which she gobbled up. Maggie was covered in fleas, filthy and is missing quite a few teeth. She is now settling into her foster home and will be seeing our the vet again on Monday so she can start on the road to wellness!

Please keep her in your thoughts and consider a donation towards her care.

Dogs like Maggie are one of the many reasons we do what we do. She needs us.

**Update**

Maggie is doing very well in her foster home and as of 7/16/14 she weighed in at 23 lbs! We are very happy with her progress thus far. Her bloodwork was perfect and thankfully she is heartworm negative.

Huge thanks to those who have sponsored Maggie thus far!
